Solution 1) Download QuickBooks Tool Hub and run the QuickBooks File Doctor tool

  • Close QuickBooks Desktop if it’s open.
  • Get the most recent release (1.5.0.0) of QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  • Double-select the downloaded file titled QuickBooksToolHub.exe and act according to the on-screen instructions.
  • Give consent to the terms and conditions to finish installing QuickBooks Tool Hub.

  • Search the files with the same title as your company file but with extensions .ND and .TLG.
  • Right-click on the file with the .ND extension and select the Rename option.
  • Add the text “.old” at the end of the filename.
  • Similarly, retitle the .TLG configuration file.
  • Open QuickBooks Desktop and try to access your company file.
